After walking through the area completely lost, we rang reception for directions and the host came and rescued us!

The ryokan is abit run down. The surroundings was alittle dark and dirty. It is just behind the busy Domdomburi where you can get lots of food and shop ard. It is near Nipponbashi stn instead of Namba stn so travelling by subway is alittle inconvenient as Namba is the main exchange stn. The best of the ryokan is the nice comfy blanket. The room is spacious. The worst was the shower tap. The flow of the hot water was irregular.

Well located and very quaint rooms. Considering the price, this place is a steal; I highly recomend it.
I really enjoyed staying at the Kaneyoshi Ryokan. The Futons were so snugg and the staff wonderfully and friendly.

The location is very nice. but we ended up paying a lot to stay here and I really didn't think it was worth it. It definitely was nowhere as nice as the Hanakiya Ryokan in Kyoto, where we paid much less and had a much better experience.
