Great location on the beach. Staff were very nice. Beware of kitchen (a little bit to be desired) and main room closes very early (8pm). A lot of Brazillians stay here!

In Carnival weekend, we had a great time in Ilha do Mel. This hostel is spacious, clean, close to the beach and the port of Encantada. The owner and the family is friendly ; the restaurant beside had live music so pretty nice to meet people and enjoy the night life. I¢¥d worried about possible crowding during Carnival but it was just worrying; we still had our privacy there. Thank you Zorro family and Lees from Sao Paulo, Peter and Natalie from Mamoe Sweden ;)
