Only stayed for one night. Not really much character - pretty dark and dingy and no outside space, bar or TV/relaxing area to speak of. The staff were friendly and helpful though.

It didn´t look like the sheets in our room had been changed. There was no loo roll in our room when we arrived either, leading me to wonder if it had even been cleaned. The staff were polite until they found out we weren´t going to go on their Pantanal tour. Why would we when it´s double the price of other local guides for exactly the same thing? After that I found them to be quite hostile. I would recommend that people don´t stay in this hostel.
