Showed up and they didn't have a room for me even though we had a reservation for three nights.

Dear Lewis, in hostels it sometimes appears that you have No Shows, basicly people who just not arrive at the reservation date. And sometimes realtime bookings make you come out overbooked, that is what happened to you. Thats why we sent you 4 days before arrival date an email giving you options to spent the first night at the hostel (for the first night there was space) and to look up something comparable for you from the 2nd night on or directly to make you an reservation at another place. Thats why in the same email we asked you to show up at our hostel to pay you the deposit back (which is taken for commission by HW) and even to pay you the taxi to the other place. You never responded that email, showed up, we paid you the deposit back, we put a beer above and you asked for a cheaper place to stay and went to dorm for the first night however we maintained the reservation for the first night in private ensuite. We asked you again at arrival if we shall look up a place for you at another hostel and we paid you the taxi. Sure we made a mistake not reading the reservation on time but I think you shouldnt enter an email address you dont check in communication details when making a reservation because for us its the only means of communication we have to get in touch with you We tried to solve it the best we can and we are a bit surprised about your reaction at the hostel and even more surprised about your comment here at HW.

This hostel was great to stay in. It is located in a convenient area to restaurants, although it is about 4 or 5 blocks to the main square. However, the friendliness of the staff and the open, airy character of the hostel makes it worth any sort of inconvenience from the walk. I would highly recommend this hostel if going to Salta.
