we cannot fault this place. the guys running it were exceptionally friendly, rooms were very clean and tidy with a view over the beach which was literally across the road. had a good place to eat and drink next door which was open till about 4am. great stay - highly recommended!!!

There was a security guard at night, but the gate into the property didn't lock, and our bedroom door a few metres away wouldn't even shut let alone lock, so it didn't feel very safe (and also got very cold in the dorm at night!). I think my view of this hostel was affected by visiting in low season when none of the activities were running.

This is an interesting "joint' as there is not much to do in EL if you're not a surfer. Hostel was good in it's day but is a bit run down now, not exactly leak proof when th rains come!!
