heard horror stories about hk hostels, so i was pleasantly surprised with yes inn. the building from the outside looks old and shabby, but the room was clean and modern and ikea-esque. the elevators to diff. floors were confusing;1 suggestion would be for the yes staff to explain the elevators as well as the location of the secondary elevator. Otherwise, yes in was great price, friendly staff, and close to lots of bakeries,grocery store and subway station. thanks, jasmine, Toronto, Canada

All in all I had a great experience, the staff were great, friendly efficient and very keen to help me when i needed to stay extra time. The room was clean although on my last night i was visited by a couple of unwelcome guests in the form of two massive adulty roaches. They're everywhere in HK , so im not suprised but i didnt see any roach traps set for them anywhere. Unfortunatley i also did get some bites in the 2nd room i had stayed in, but you pays your money you takes your chance....staff great, location great, rooms basic and functional.

First of all, let me clear up the past review about the bugs. I just stayed there, after that review was posted, and any problem that there may have been was taken care of because I didn\'t see a single bug the entire time I was in the hostel, it was actually one of the cleaner ones I have ever been in. Now for the review: This is one of the coolest hostels I have stayed in. The hostel its self is clean, has many ammenities like free internet, kitchen facilities, and laundry (a huge plus during the sweltering Hong Kong summers). The staff is amazing. The location is one of the best in all of Hong Kong, it\'s really hard to find hostels on the island, let alone one so close to the central part. Everyone staying there was really cool, I ended up spending most of my time in HK with the people I met there. I will be back for sure! Thanks again for helping make my first HK trip so great! -Brian
