Everything was great at Las Arrbes. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was super clean and comfortable. Only problem was that I hd about 30 seconds of hot water but I never said anything so thats my fault. Great place for anyone on a budget.

This residence is very convenient for those visiting Salamanca, especially for students studying at the Universidad de Salamanca during the summer months!

This was a great place to stay, despite the fact that the staff didn't speak a word of English and it was located about 20 minutes walking distance from the center of the city. The hostel is new and huge and not the place to go if you're alone and want to make friends, I only saw one other person the entire time I was there. The security is great, I felt completely safe and the bathroom was so clean that I decided to take an actual bath, which says a lot because I rarely even take a bath at home. Towels were provided, as was soap and shampoo and the bed was clean and comfortable. There was a mini-fridge and a microwave and tons of closet space and a desk and phone. There is a tv room downstairs and tons of computers with internet access. The halls were a bit spooky, reminded me of a horror movie because of the dim lighting, but it was completely safe and so incredibly clean. I would stay there again despite the walk (about 45 minutes from the train station....take a taxi, only about 4 euros and completely worth it). Oh, and the address on the site is incorrect, Los Arribes is actually located on a street called Henry Colette which wasn't on the map I had of the city, well it was it just wasn't labeled. Anyway, its one street over from Avenida del Doctor Ramos del Manzano and not very well labeled. Just look for a large building with yellow accents surrounded by a gate.
It's hard to find. At the Migual de Unamuno Campus nobody knows the "Escuela de Magisterio Luis Vives". There is a large building of the University at the other side of a large street. Probably you can describe: The residence is behind the ... building; go over the large street ....
The hostel was great...never had an hotel even that clean and comfortable!!! I would recommand it to everybody. I definitely go back!
