Pros: - Place to stay - People are especially interesting in the common room. - internet - no curfew Cons: -Showers are a slight bit of a disappointment. The 4th floor shower is a button and only dispenses 2 seconds of water meaning you need to keep pressing it. - Walls are super thin, you can easily hear people outside your room or in the next room. - slow internet. For the price, its not that bad. A little bit of a ways from the train station but Asakusa is a good place. I recommend it.
My husband and I stayed in the annex for more than a week and it was very helpful because we had in short distance (using the Metro or JR loop) all the interesting places in Tokyo. We were booked in the Neo area, where the rooms are very small but they do the work. The only problem was the walls of the rooms, they are very thin and you can hear the voice of the people who stay awake at very late hours talking in loud voice, but whenever this happened (in my case) I asked them nicely to speak quiet giving my reasons and they were neat and stop making so much noice. In fact we would stay again, the price is reasonable for what we get.
A little too far from central Tokyo
