Nice hostel, though a bit far from Shanghai's highlights.

I would stay there again ,the staff want to be helpful and tours are arranged but for some reason Stephen who was trying to be very accomadating and helpful did not understand our frustration of being on a Chinese tour nor did he informn us in advance. All cities that i visited in China and went on day-tours provided English guides on the tour, but here he insisted we had to pay extra for an english guide! This is a major issue that needs to be looked into, the Internet was free but SLOW...some keyboards didn't even function well.

Was a bit disapointed at how far away from the city it is. The tours are a joke, I wouldn't recommend them. The free breakfast was a bonus, the staff were very accomodating. I was unimpressed by the state of the bathrooms.
