We'd booked to stay at the Downtown Hostel for two nights, but decided upon arrival to find accommodation elsewhere; there were bugs crawling about in the common room, the staff didn't seem all that interested in checking us in, and the rooms were unclean and untidy.

Lockers would have been nice, but otherwise I have only good things to say about this place. If you arrive by train or bus all you do is cross the street, and the rest of the city is all around you.

I was looking to stay one night and found Downtown Belgrad!!Well Im so glad that I found it..The place is incredible right in the heart of the city.. The beds are comfortable and you can sleep very nicely..And of course the staff is great! if i ever go to Belgrad again, i'll definitely stay there!!:)
