I only hope that the hotel is closer to Lijiang Old City.

I believe it should be pointed out that it\'s location on an accessible main road is very convenient for taxi drop off/pick up compared to other hotels which are in the old town of lijiang since the old town is pedestrian. Sometimes felt the staff was overly friendly but nevertheless very helpful. No heaters but luckily have electric blankets. Use solar panels for hot water.

Nice hostel. Rooms are hotel like and almost new. Not good for meeting people though and do not mix up with LP recommended Wang Gu Hostel (different place)

We had a hard time finding the hostel at first, but upon our belated arrival were met by the entire family so the delay was quickly forgotten. The owner will also offer to drive you to the Tiger Leaping Gorge (for way too much money) as an FYI.

The people who own this place are great!! They go out of their way to make you welcome. My parents always drink coffee at night, and everynight we got home, they would come up with a flask of hot water so they could have their coffee. They helped us book trips, their food is reasonably priced and tasty. I absolutely recommend this place!!
