Beautifully situated cosy hostel that's a healthy walk from both town and Penryhn Mansion aka Castle. If lugging your heavy bag from the rail station catch a bus or taxi. Local buses to most of the other towns in the area go right past the hostel. For a small town, there is plenty of activity in Bangor on a Saturday night.

Very clean place with very kind staff. If you want to stay in Bangor, I highly suggest this place, though we mostly stayed in Bangor because that's where the London train goes to, and in that regard it was still nice, but a good 25 or more min walk to the train station and like 15 min to the main bus station. but overall, I enjoyed my stay very much.

This is an excellent hostel. Staff is very friendly and helpful, specially Rob. 20 mins walk from railway station and 15 mins from Bus station but the location is good. Bangor is very well connected with other cities in Wales. Would surely visit the place again
