We had such a wonderful time at Bola Bola that we decided to stay an extra night! The owners are extremely hospitable and kind, and the place is loaded with character. We chatted with a lot of other travelers who loved the place, too. This is more of a guest house than a hostel, so if you're looking for a place to party, this isn't it. If you're looking for a quaint little Japanese-style inn, though, this is the one. The only downside is that it's a little bit tough to find...but the staff at the nearby Esso saw us coming and directed us! Also, make sure you frequent the nearby Welz Bakery -- the pastries are amazing and the owner is a sweetheart!
