this has changed its name and is now called the little hanoi hotel. Hotel is OK. organising trips from the hotel is a hit and miss. better to go to travel agency.

Good Location within the old town of Hanoi, Even though it is a crazy place! The staff are truely helpful, friendly and informative about the area and how to explore the rest of Vietnam. Believe me, I've comepared it to others, So give these fellas a try.

the 2.50 per night room was clean and when paying so little, that's really all you can ask for. but the staff is very helpful and can book practically anything for you, but doesn't pressure you to do all things through package tours. Very helpful indeed. Overall, its a great place

Great hostel, and great location. Found the staff to be very friendly and eager to please. They also were very helpful and knowledgable when it came to booking excursions to Halong Bay and Sapa. Although not listed in LP, this would be there on my shortlist of places to stay.
