This place is awesome!!! It may not be flashy but you'll feel like home here. I'll definitely be staying here again. The location is fine and the hostel is really chilled out. Where else can you lounge around on sofas watching dvds and drinking beer like you would at home?? Perfect for those chilled evenings when you're knackered and can't be bothered to go anywhere.

best hostel, its so homely, and the staff are the friendliest you will ever meet. remembering your name is such a great small detail. its not as far the city centre a everyone says, do not stay anywhere else.

The backpackers make this place the place to be. It's fun and it's always filled with exciting people. The staff are super nice. The only thing I didn't like about it is that there aren't very many bathrooms. My friends and I only stayed there for one night and we had fun just chilling. Gotta love free breakfast!

Location is not a problem in Chiang Mai. It's a quite small city. Besides, If you book tours or trekkings, iand you stay in Spicythai, you're gonna be the last that they're gonna pick up, so you can sleep more, and the first that they'll drop. Also, staff is very helpfull and friendly. Thanks a lot for everything. Rodrigo.-
