This place is pretty much in the dead middle of things in the way-too-crazy Shinjuku district. I'm not sure we would have really even found it as soon as we did if it weren't for a seemingly random Indian guy on the street asking us if we were looking for the capsule hotel. The staff is nice enough but they have a sign that claims "no entry with tattoos". I have a half-sleeve and managed to cover it but was worried that I'd get kicked out in if spotted in the public showering area. I'm guessing it's (sign) more aimed towards the locals. The hostel begins on the 3rd floor of a 8 story building. The 2nd floor is a she-male bar, so be ware. The capsules were clean enough and the bathing area was clean as well. Only issue is people smoking where they shouldn't be; usually right next to the sign at the elevator that says "No Smoking". Not too bad though as long as you're out during the day and only need a place to crash after a long day of exploring. Very convenient location to all that is Shinjuku, though! Security is pretty good with having your bags kept behind their reception counter in a small closet room. Again, a nice staff/crew there made it a pleasant stay.

the experience is cool, but they are kinda strict.

At the begining it was hard to understand the codes of the place, the second time it was much easier, the experience of sleeping in a capsule is just great, but what I enjoyed more was the sauna. About the staff, the men are much more friendly than the women, they dont speak enough english and it can be problematic to leave your bags there after you chekc out. The hotel can be hard to find but I show the address to the Information desk peorple, at the Shinkuku station, and they showed it to me in a map.

Really tricky - shoes in a box out front, small bag in a locker and big bags behind the reception. Otherwise, quite an experience!!
