good people and the staff are very, very helpful with planning your trip (with decent prices!). definitely stay here. the streetfront rooms are a bit noisy for light sleepers.

The people at the hostel were so helpful. they helped us arrange a very inexpesive (10 USD/person), alll day tour to see all the pyramids and sphinx and some really great factories that produce Egypts most well-known exports. The location is amazing, and the rooms are really nice considering the price. Great hostel!!

I really dont think you could do much better for location and the staff were great. They organised a tour for us to see the pyramids etc and it was at a very reasonable price. They weren't the least bit pushy, just really helpful. The hostel is only a short walk from the Egyptian museum and is right in the centre of downtown Cairo. Well worth the money!
