this place is amazing! it was like having our own gorgeous apartment. if you go to budapest, there is nowhere else you should stay. the staff are fantastic (we were offered juice or water when we arrived. so nice) the decor is gorgeous and the atmosphere brilliant. youd be a fool not to stay here! best place ever.

We actually ended up in Adams other hostel lavender 3, but saw gallery. Either way both were in excellent locations, beautifully appointed and very welcoming. The stairs are fairly brutal, as you have to go up three or four stories, but its absolutely worth it. A highlight of my trip so far.

depends on your expectations. i liked the place, the causiness, friendliness etc, my friend did not because it was not a regular hostel, it was a rented flat room. staff were very friendly. no trouble with the guests. a bit far from the main street by walking, ideal for those using the public transportation.
