security was very poor, we had a drunk guy try jump into one of our beds one night, a lot of noise the same night and nothing was done about it. Laundry machines woke us up morning, located out in hallway. The food was very poor too and the common room was closed at one so there was no where to chill outside your room after late. Staff: English speaking, friendly.
Rooms: Small and simple, but comfortable. They should have non-smoker rooms. First one horribly stank, but we got another one which was better.
Lounge: Nice atmosphere, sofas, drinks and snacks, billiard, TV, computers, WiFi access.
Food: Cheap food and supermarkets along the street, relatively expensive breakfast in the hostel, even a kitchen available.
Public transportation: Metro (circle line) right in front of the door, station: Luban Road.

The hostel itself is great, very clean and comfortable but the commons closes around 1, 2 am and those who want wifi are stuck sitting in the lobby hallway....staff has a generally capable grasp of English as well; bathrooms are western and seem clean enough

This hostel was awesome. The staff were always helpful, the hostel was clean and it's only a couple minutes walk from the subway. I have been to a few hostels in Asia and this one beats them all.
Most importantly, the people staying there were also amazing and I made a bunch of new friends.
