nice place, very nice family but far away from centre. not so bad but you're pretty much obliged to sort transport out through hostel and that can fix a higher price. locals will pester for money so don't go on foot near the hostel. use tuk-tuks these can be arranged easily and avoid taxi price which soon adds up (driver will want a tip, has three kids and no money(yet he has a car?)). The hostel a little overpriced but you'll get a great host that also speaks very good English at least.

The place is great. Though the location is not very good the staff are wonderful and helped us organise taxis and tuk tuks. You need this in Agra anyway, but we were less independant here. I'd recommend gardenvilla, but would suggest that you ask them to pick you up from the station and to arrange transport for you! Room was v new and clean!

the place is lacated not near to the major touristic sites of Agra (i.e. Taj Mahal). When we wanted to go by taxi to our hostel the drivers had always problems to find the way. Transportation from the hostel can become a problem if the called taxi dirver doesn't show up i.e. early in the morning if you have to catch an early train. If you have a private driver the hostel is a very good place, as the room are new, clearn and the family is very friendly and helpful.

The couple whose house it was were very friendly and accomodating. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast with them. The room was large and very clean. Only problem was location, its in a little village, so our driver took over an hour to find it! It was worth the wait tho!
