nice place to stay, very close to the southern part of the beach and 20 minutes to walk along the beach to the golden mile. cool location in an old warehouse.

If Going to Durban I would definatly stay there again. I wanted to stay a additional day but arline wasn't able to give me a flight for the next day. Getting to the airport was real cheap , fast & easy. Buses in town were nice & great location for hostel. Only wish there was a fridge in the room & water or a communal fridge and drinking water tank!! Happy hippo was a highlight of our trip!!! Lastly, all staff were friendly & helpfull

Coolest hostel, worst staff! The building is a converted warehouse and it's definitely one of the neatest setups for a hostel we've ever seen. Unfortunately, we've never encountered a hostel staff so rude! However, the location is decent and on the whole it's probably a good choice in Durban.

Pretty nice hostel but in a slightly scary part of town. The recommended a taxi to us that totally ripped us off, so that was the biggest complaint. Really clean and nice decor.
