Felt like a bit of a rip off considering you can do the same thing and more for half the price by booking a trip in Kachanburi.

Place to go if you want to go bareback on an elephant. Lowdown - When you arrive by train you are picked up at station. By the time you get to Ganesha Park it\'s time to take the elephants back to the mountains where they sleep. Now this is no 5 min hop on hop off ride. It takes about 40 - 60min to go where you go. The next morning is the dogs bollocks (truly awesome)!!!! You pick up the elephants before the sunrise - an amazing experience as you crash through the landscape as the sun comes up. You head to the River Kwai where you get to bath / clean the elephants while sitting on their backs!!!!! Words can\'t describe how remarkable it was...... After saying goodbye to the elephants we hit the road with Mr Pop (staff) who took us on 2 days worht of tours of the sites in and around Kanchanaburi. This was excellent as we were a small group of 6 and got to enjoy all the sites away from the crowds at a cheaper cost than the big tours!!! The Tiger Temple was awesome!!!!! Enjoy - we did which has been the best part of our travels through SE Asia in 3 months!!!!
