Kate was the best hostess I've ever had when travelling abroad. She was eager to meet us, explained the rules, showed us the good places to go to, gave us recommendations, and helped us out in so many ways - all with a great smile on her face. This excellent service makes me want to choose stargate again when coming back to Amsterdam.

I have just got home from the stargate in Amsterdam and im missing it already. Its like being in a friends house in the middle of an amazing city. It has everything you could want.Cooking, Chillin and privacy if you need.and you can smoke anywhere if you want. anyway Im just being probably being too nice because they gave me a bowl of maoams. I dont normally bother to do reviews but this place is excellent.If you want a good time then go.

It was ok. We should have needed more keys because we were four people sharing one room, and we didn't stay together in the city. One key per room. The location was awesome, and underneath the apartment was a nice coffeeshop. But at our arrival we had to call the owner and she came and met us. This place didn't mention that in the description, and it could be troublesome for some people who can't use their phones in other countries. I had a really nice time in Amsterdam, but I don't think that I would choose this place again if I went here. The rent was like a small hotell in Amsterdam, and you shared the apartment (kitchen, bathroom and TV) with other people. Cheers to the nice Australian guys that had the other room! There was no sign that said Stargate Amsterdam on the street, it was just a small white door next to the Resin coffeeshop. Good luck in the future, Stargate!

This place was great! beautiful location, super smoker friendly and really laid back . . Nice if you have a large group of friends with a clean private place to stay.
