Our experience was horrible. First, they were not at the airport when we arrived (whereas they were supposed to come.)So we had to pay for another taxi and then we could not find the place so we tried many times to call them but no one was answering (supposed to be a 24H reception.) We could not find the place after 2 hours so we had to pay for another hotel which was a waste of money since we had already been charged for booking at Arabian nights.

The hostel was clean and basic. They did pick us up from the airport and Ruby the driver they employ is excellent. The travel agent associated with the hostel on the other hand is not good. Be very wary of him and any packages he tries to sell you. In fact I would not even consider dealing with him. As we moved on we realised that we did not receive what we had paid for and that he had profited over 100% from what we could have arranged ourselves.

New building, Simple clean rooms with satellite and air conditioning in the area of the bazar Khan-al-khalili. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We'll be back soon.

This hostel was very nice and very accomodating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is not in downtown Cairo if that is what you are looking for but it is in a quieter but still busy area near the main bazaar. i would stay here again if in Cairo
