Lo unico malo era un olor a cloaca muy desagradable que salia al comenzar a utilizar los grifos de agua, sea del lavamanos o de la regadera. Ademas,sería muy agradable para el cliente poder contar en esta epoca del año con aire acondicionado pues el ventilador lo que hace es hechar aire caliente. De resto todo aceptable

Staff never smeil...And not respect guests as well. It was not a clean hotel. My room was very very noisy in the night...No air-conditioner..It was hot place..Generally speaking, I will never suggest others to choose this hotel..

Guyz remember that there is one 'Hostal Central' and there is one 'Hostal Central Barcelona' so do not mix them up they are completely different places. Thanks.

The hostel is really close to the city center (no more than 5-10 min walking) and is in a wonderful building just on the first floor. The people are really friendly and there is a small breakfast included in the price (tea-coffee-milk and cookie. My room has been a double without bathroom, sincerely quite small (just the place for the bad, a little writing desk and a sink), with a window looking at a small hole inside the palace where are all the pipe for water...so really noisy (thinck at a fall) and without sun. I suggest to take a room with bathroom in this way you will have windows or balcony in front of the main street (probably noisy as well but sunny). Generally I have been really surprised for this hostel, really nice and close to the center. Great!! enjoy Barcelona Lorenz e Marta
