The location was perfect and our room was small but clean. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but also not very helpfull. Never said anything more than the necessary.

This hostel was in a great location!! Close to everything!! The staff were not that friendly, and the hostel was rundown. It is a good place for people who do not mind being up all night. It is on one of the busiest streets in Madrid, and is very loud 24/7. But for the money it was good, and once again, EXCELLENT LOCATION! We would stay again.

All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the privacy of having our own room & bathroom but at the same time the convenience of having shared bathrooms.
The staff here was awful. We only stayed on night in between coming back from Barcelona and leaving the next day, but they were very unfriendly and kept insisting we pay with cash even though we chose it because they accepted credit cards (despite what he said, the credit card machine was not broken and I was able to pay with mine. The room was very nice though, more of a hotel.

This hostal was great! Really clean and very close to all the major places in Madrid. It felt more like a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really worth your money. I'll definately stay there again if I ever go back to Madrid.
