I had a great stay at the hostel, I had so much fun, the staff was great, very helpful, the location was perfect, easy to get around.

the wharf is fine. However, my Dad had booked the weekend through Tuesday at the City Center Hostel. When I got there, they told me I couldn't have the space because I didn't have my out of state ID. They said it said so on the City Center website. My dad said that he looked through all the information on their website, and that the only thing it said that he could find was a place under "what you'll need when you arrive" where it says "a valid government ID or passport! It needs to be posted in red letters on the reservation page, because this really put me in a tight spot!!!

We had a very mixed group of several different ages groups. The beds are a little hard and the pillows flatter then sheets of paper, but in general not too bad. The food in their Cafe was really good and one of the best features of the hostel.

I basically just slept at the hostel and used it as a base to explore San Francisco. It was a very good experience
