I cant speak highly enough of this hostel, staff are so friendly, booking for various trips can be made at reception, great internet access the rooms bathrooms and kitchen are so clean! you get a free dinner everyday which is SO handy when your on a budget plus they pick you up at the airport for free! It is quiet at night but still has a great atmosphere and just a short walk down the esplanade to the main area.

Staff were really friendly. We ended up having a 4 bed dorm all to ourselves. Rooms and Bathroom were really clean!! Good atmosphere - wish we had spent more time there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caravella 149. It was very clean and very handy to the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our first time in a backpackers and we were most impressed (who needs a TV when you are on holidays??)and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to any of our friends. The lower cost (than motels etc) meant that we were able spend more on being tourists
