Not in the best shape but it's in a terrific bustling location in the Latin Quarter. Free simple breakfast in the morning and a great crepe place down the street. Very close to the Pantheon and about 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. Only 2 toilets in the hostel but I didn't have to wait very often.

Not an option if you prefer a quiet lie-in. Rue Mouffetard is a busy party area & gets very loud esp during the weekends. For the price it offers good facilities & the showers are very strong. Could do with few more loos though as there were only 2 in the main block with over 100 guests. Supermarket and street markets literally next door and a young crowd. Easy to make friends and helpful staff. High on my list if coming back Paris next time. Conveniently located for getting out and about.

This was my second time staying at Young & Happy and I love it. I'm really starting to think that the people who write these reviews are just the ones who don't have good experiences! The area is great, just a few minutes away from "Place Monge" metro station and cheap eats are all around. The staff are great, breakfast can hold you over until lunch and you're sure to meet a ton of people. It has charm, and yes, there aren't that many showers, but bring your shower shoes and you're good to go. If your traveling in twos, "splurge" and get a two-person room. It's simple, but the little extra privacy is worth it!

A great place to meet other young travelers, and the location is quite good. The Staff is reasonably nice, but really not that helpful at all.
