We did enjoy our stay in Amsterdam, but one complaint we have is the people that we were paired with for roomates. Upon coming home at only midnight, our two other roomates were already sound asleep each of the four nights and we felt rather obligated to be completely silent. I wonder if there is a way you can set up some kind of survey for your guests before you assign them to a room so you can pair roomates with similar habits/interests. Just a suggestion, thanks.

This was a good base for us in Amsterdam, right down the road from lots of shops and cafes and had a little pub on the corner which was sweet. The rooms were OK and the linen clean but the bathrooms didn't have any soap. Also it was quite loud at night. There was no area to hang out after reception closed so that was a pity. Generally a pretty average hostel but good for the price.
