It was wonderful to have a room to myself. Knowing that I could leave a laptop behind and that noone had access to my room was reassuring. The breakfast was wonderful too. A choice of continental or hot breakfast wasn't indicated, but after day two the cook explained it to me. Having a sign up where the guests come in would avoid that confusion. It was in Zone 2 of the transportation grid, so further away than some of the other places. But for the quiet neighbourhood, the pleasant staff, and the security, it was worth travelling a little bit longer.

i LOVE this place! its so great..you get your own room for the price of a 6 bed in most other places and there are tons of baths and showers and toilets you can use if you just walk down the hall..they have a cafeteria its great...it seems far from london central but its not...its a quick train ride to victoria or london bridge and the tube and the night bus #68 passes right by the local train station so dont be intimidated by the distance...its a great place safe and friendly and most of all COOL each room has a huge window that makes it so comfortable...and did i mention...its your OWN room!!! ill be staying here again!!

Great Hostel. Ideal for older people and retired people who would like to visit London. Also great value for money. They give a huge breakfast which will keep you going until 2pm.
