It reopened some weeks ago and now it´s really a good place to stay. Mara is doing a good job. The hostal it´s in the heart of pelourinho and the people were the best that I´ve met in my trip through Brazil. Muy amable y hermoso. Thanks for all Mara y Neto. I can recommend it

Awful, it was so desapointed to get this hostal and nobody was there. I paid for just a night buth it was so bad to be bem-vindo to Salvador de Bahía in this way.

Hi, I have already sent an eamil regarding our experience with this hostel. It looked fine, but unfortunately they did not have our booking and were fully booked. They did help us find another Pousada to stay which was quite dreadful with a fair amount of cockroaches etc and we cut our stay in Salvador short by two days as a consequence. I replied to our booking confirmation emails to reques the refund of our booking fee and have yet to recieve a response. I look forward to you reply Regards Barry Jordan and Lucy Kilborn

The albergue has a new owner who is doing a brillant job. He has worked on some "deficits" which were there before. The friendliness warmth and being helpful in all aspects is really exeptionell.
