Disgusting! Our room had an ensuite all right but it needs renovating and it smelled like a 1000 years of rome in there. Greasy dude that owns the bar downstairs is a hustler. A place that can\'t even break a 5 euro after buying an Espresso is pretty hurting. No lockers to lock up your stuff, they do how ever have like mailbox sized lock boxes by the front desk.

original booking changed with a wks notification, we lost deposit and had to pay whole amount because he reckons the 10% deposit goes to hostelworld.. We payed extra for an ensuite and the shower didn\\\'t turn on and it was dirty!!

this is the worst hostel i have ever seen in my entire life. there were roaches running wild, the showers were unbearable (the bathroom was not cleaned once the entire week we were in Rome). The manager was rude and totally unprofessional. I would sooner sleep on the spanish steps than stay here again. Beware!
