This place was really great in my opinion! The staff was friendly and although by hotel standards it wasn\'t immaculate compared to other hostels I\'ve been to, it was WONDERFUL! I loved the location and all the people I met here were really great! No matter what type of traveler you are, THIS is the place for you!!

The location was perfect but this hostel was nasty. The room was very dirty, the floor was literally black. The washing machine was free, but there was no dryer so everything took ages to dry.The living area was just as dirty, when we sat there a huge rat ran across the room! The 3 guys who ran the place were lazy and never cleaned anything. They were unfriendly and arrogant, and especially nasty to the female workers(who we didnt see after our first day in the hostel)..

Windroad may not be the most attractive hostel you will ever go to, but it has a lot of personality. Also, its very homely. Many of the people who stay there are returnees. The only complaints would be that the rooms are small and you don:t have much privacy in the dorms, but with the cheap price, you cant really complain about things like that. Overall, Windroad is a pretty cool place.
