Loved this hostel. My favorite by far. In the hillsides just outside the city, but accessible on ferrocarriles. http://www.fgc.net/eng/index.asp. These are kind of like a small commuter rail. The price is 1.35 each way (Zone 1) unless you buy the T-10 pass for 7.70 which will allow you ten trips on the metro and ferrorcarills in Barcelona. Look for the blue signs with white zigzags. Note: In Placa de Catalunya you have to exit the metro (but can stay underground) to get to the ferrocarriles. Andrea, from USA ~ 8th Nov 2009
