Central location, helpful, very pleasant staff, make up for the street noise, poor plumbing system, and same kind of breakfast day after day. Do not buy any tours from the hostel, taxi is cheaper than their driver, do not buy anything without getting prior knowledge of the competitor's prices. Otherwise, safe, cheap, and very usable. I have never reviewed a hostel before although I have been to many hostels all over the world, but my experience at Wake Up Hostel and its amazing staff has been so outstanding that I wanted to share my experience. Peter and the rest of the staff were very helpful throughout my stay. Peter even helped me to make a great program to visit Cairo and helped me book some tours, and when a problem arose in one of the tours he got me a refund.
