Due to increasing demand from our customers, we are trialing Debit Card payment methods this month.

When a customer makes a booking, they can now pay using Switch and Solo (UK), Laser (Ireland) and JCB (France).

As part of the confirmation process, Customers using Debit Cards are told they must re-confirm their reservation with you by phone if they are to arrive after midday. If the customer does not contact you before noon, then you should cancel the booking, and re-sell the beds.

Unlike with Credit cards, you will not be able to charge the customers who do not show up. In order for us to gauge the success of the trial, please inform us of no-shows where no contact has been made.

In the event that you do not wish to accept debit card bookings, notify your WRI customer services rep and we will remove this facility for your property immediately.

Given the age range of our typical customer, we believe there is a potential for a number of Debit Card bookings in the future.

At the end of October we will assess the success or failure of this test period. At that stage we may refine the terms based on your feedback, or remove the functionality altogether.
