worst hostel i have ever stayed at..... i had reservation for 4 nights but only stayed one and then went somewhere else. near the hostel i went to get food and saw a fight and the cops came and it was a very bad area.
In Hollywood there are police activities every half an hour. In North Hollywood it happens once in a blue moon. NY has more crimes than Los Angeles. In San Fernando Valley, there is hardly ever any crimes or fights. Besides the point, there are going to be crimes or any bad activities anywhere around the world. Don't forget we do have cops to reduce these crimes and provide safety.

This is not really a hostel. It is basically a dorm room for worn down guys. The manager/owner is abrasive. He called me to find out when I would be arriving and when I was 1 hour late because of a bus he wasn't there. Spend the few extra bucks and stay somewhere closer and with a nicer manager.
