Welcome to the Oasis of Copacabana, the Bairro do Peixoto Square. Only 4 blocks from the sea, 2 blocks to the Metro, the place has only small buildings that gives it a small town atmosphere.
Bairro Peixoto is a refuge of tranquillity inside Copacabana (The most popular square of Rio de Janeiro, ), six hundred meters from the beach. It is preserved from the surrounding shopping areas.
Our rooms have private bathroom and kitchen, telephone, ventilators , refrigerator,air conditioning and cable TV. Free iInternet Access !!!

Staff was friendly and able to speak English well enough, however, the location was far from the beach. There was not many people staying at the Hostel so it wasn't that much fun, however, we were there in September. Overall it was a comfortable stay in the private room, however, would chose a different hostel in the future to obtain a better location. Brian, from USA ~ 1st Oct 2009
