Sobre The LightHouse Hostel

The Lighthouse Hotel is a small, quiet hostel located in Ipanema, one of the most beautiful and well-known areas of Rio de Janeiro. Just three blocks from the beach, we are surrounded by restaurants, shops, bars and clubs.

We have accommodation in a private room to sleep up to four people and an eight-bed mixed dormitory. We offer cable television, air conditioning, tours and a taxi service.

Excellent staff-warm and will do everything to help you find you activities of your choice, such as meeting the Brazilian Top Team. Delicious breakfasts and a cute sausage dog to keep you company are provided. We stayed in the dorm room one night and it was quite tight for space. There were two bathrooms and they're pretty small As well but that seemed to be the norm in Rio. The location is primo, right in the heart if Ipanema.if you're older and is willing to spend a few more dollars, I recomm hyelee, from USA ~ 18th Aug 2009

This was my first ever Hostel experience, being very apprehensive when I first booked...however it turned out to be a great choice. I loved every minute of my stay at The Lighthouse. This Hostel was one of the best things about my Rio experience. Sylvia and her staff are possibly the nicest people I have ever met. I just can't wait to go back. Hirok, from England ~ 4th Aug 2009
