As of this date, this is the highest rating I gave any hostel. This hostel is clean, safe and very helpful and friendly staff. The location could not be better. I enjoyed the time at this hostel. Donald, from USA ~ 23rd Nov 2009

The hostel is on a very busy junction with traffic all night but the windows are old and offer little noise reduction.
This is our biggest issue, as we are located right in the middle of downtown San Diego. Earplugs are available at Front Desk for free, and we are looking into perhaps some better windows. Thanks for your review. Glad everything else was satisfying. -HI San Diego Downtown
