Hostel Mali Mrak Zagreb en Zagreb, Croatia (Hrvatska)

A bit out of town, but near tram station so not a massive problem. All three of the staff we met were really welcoming and friendly. Front door gets left open a lot, but rooms lock and big luggage lockers provided. Kitchen facilities not great, but nice lounge and dinning area. Would stay again.

Well, we feel the need to comment the comment: Dear city dwellers, especially you from urban leviathans like London, Paris etc, enjoy the break in Zagreb and leave your urbanoia behind, at least for a while! Our neighbourhood is safe, we are in a small cul-de-sac-like street, surrounded by people we know, with some we drink coffee together, and it happens that hostel guests end up invited to a party, or a nice, simple lunch, cup of tea, or a cookie or two! And we still have a lot of neighbourhoods around the city where people do not lock their doors at night, because it is simply safe.
