Please note that although our postal address is Spean Bridge, the hostel is actually located 11 miles north of Spean Bridge in a settlement called South Laggan.
By car:
From Inverness: follow the A82 for 40 miles to Invergarry. Continue for a further 2 miles and cross the Laggan Swing Bridge. The hostel is 1 mile further, on the righthand side.
From Fort William: follow the A82 to Spean Bridge and continue for another 11 miles to the north end of Loch Lochy. The hostel is 1 mile north of Laggan Locks in a small settlement called South Laggan.
By Bus:
Citylink services 915 and 916 between Glasgow and the Isle of Skye pass by the hostel and will stop nearby if requested.
Service 919 between Fort William and Inverness will also stop at the hostel.
Please ask the bus driver to drop you 'at the hostel in South Laggan'.
By Train:
Rail travellers can get off at Spean Bridge station and connect with regular bus services.
By Air:
The nearest airport is Inverness, about 90 minutes from the hostel, or Glasgow - about 3 hours away.
By car:
