I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CONFIRMATION, WHAT CAN I DO?

  • Once you click the "Confirm" button it should only take up to 1 minute to receive confirmation of your booking on screen.
  • We then send you a confirmation email with your booking details. It's important that you enter the correct email address - if you don't, you won't receive the email.
  • Please note that due to the nature of the internet and individual email servers that sometimes mails will not be received. If you require confirmation of your booking, and have not received a confirmation email, please use our contact form to let us know. To do so click here.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

  • If you wish to cancel your booking you must contact the hostel directly to do so. Once the booking leaves our system we have no more control over it.
  • In the event of a cancellation the booking fee and deposit are non-refundable. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your arrival as failure to do so can result in your card being charged for the first night's stay.
  • Contact details for the hostel are on the booking confirmation.

    WHAT IF I NEED TO AMEND/CHANGE MY RESERVATION?

  • You must contact the hostel directly to see if they can amend/change your reservation.
  • You may need to cancel your reservation and re-book online. The booking fee and deposit are non-refundable. Contact details for the hostel are on the booking confirmation.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T SHOW UP AND HAVEN'T CONTACTED THE HOSTEL?

  • In the event of a no show the hostel will charge your card for the first night's stay and cancel any remaining nights booked. The deposit and booking fee are non refundable.

    I HAVE JUST NOTICED ON MY CONFIRMATION THAT MY CHECK-IN DAY IS THE SAME AS MY LEAVING DAY, HOW CAN THIS BE?

  • If you make a booking for 1 day only, the date on your booking will be the day of your arrival only. The confirmation only shows the dates reserved and not the check out date.

    HOW DO I ACCESS THE BOOKINGS I HAVE MADE TO DATE OR SEE MY ITINERARY OF HOSTEL RESERVATIONS?

    • To access your reservations and your itinerary, click 'My Bookings Login' on the Hostels.com homepage. Enter your email address and password.
    • Note: If you have just made your first reservation through hostels.com, then use your email address as your password also. This will access your account, where you can view the booking details and contact details of the hostel.
