AWA Heidi Hostel Interlaken in Austin, Sveitsi

Brilliant hostel. The lady who runs it plies you with chocolates and makes it the atmosphere brilliant. We had a great 2 night stay there and the location is unbelieveable, 2 minutes from Interlaken West & a 5 minute walk from the Harder Kulm which is the mountain we climbed while there. A strange feel to the place, a little eerie and lots of animal smells. For the money though, bed was clean and comfy, shower and toilet okay and in a great location - close to station but far enough away to be quiet. Jean, from Australia ~ 30th Oct 2011

DO NOT EVER STAY HERE. took 20 mins to check in, old lady speaks no english. one key for ENTIRE room, no security, anyone can walk into room at anytime. stank of mould and wet dog, hard to breathe. old lady kept walking into room without knocking, min 5 times in 1 day, once i was in underwear and asked her to wait as she was with people but she came in and said it didnt matter cos all female. at least 3 mice in the room, got into our stuff, pood in our bags and beds. seriously, dont stay here!!!
