Ace Backpackers Youth Hostel in Nelson, Brasilia

The day staff is amazing!They are all so helpful and it was so clean. I really enjoyed everything until my last night...The old night guy named Bill kissed me when I was alone in the common room late at night, not only that but when I obviously wasn't into it he kept on persisting and there was a point where he was groping me and I couldn't get him off. It was a horrible way to spend my last night. Go to this hostel, but if your a young girl traveling alone,avoid the chubby 50 year old night guy Sarah, from USA ~ 28th Sep 2011

I found the hostel a very nice place to be and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was more than a hostel but like a family. Great location in Botofogo just 50 meters from Metro....staff so helpful...room fine and good air con..good wifi..lots of paces to eat very close and good shops Nigel, from England ~ 17th Feb 2012

Compared with all the wonderful hostels we have stayed in throughout South America this one was a real disappointment. Tiny limited access up noisy metal stairs, dark windowless facilities, small cramped rooms. One staff member was great but others appeared uninterested. Rio might be expensive living but recommend you pay a little extra for somewhere else.

SOrry but this is not a 5 stars hotel and we are not advertising confort, luxury, etc throught the web. ALso our hostels is really focused on the guests from 18 to 40 years old. Older people only if their spirit is from a backpacker that still want to discover the wonders of the world. We do offer excellent beds, excellent air conditioning, excellent beer, very good customer service whenever needed.
