Anandamayi Hostel in Washington Dc, Kolumbia

Truly beautiful old casa.No cabbie can find it.Even after explaining the street situation, my driver drove around in circles.A cab from the airport ar night actually costs COP $22,500.The dorm is really pleasant, but it is very cold.Breakfast is nice, and the whole place is quiey and has a nice vibe.Excellent library of philosophy, religion, spiritualism, natural health, etc.BUT best of all is the staff.The young women who work for the owner are true blessings whole really want to make their Owen, from USA ~ 10th Apr 2012

A very peaceful place to come to. An oasis in the middle of the Candelaria. A good place for travellers who like to meditate, since there are many places to sit undisturbed in one of the gardens. The gardens are beautiful and calming, with lovely bonzai trees and running water. This is not a party hostel, so it fits people looking for something else (not a place for smoking or drinking).
