It's a great place to start/finish your journey if you're planning to go to the Cairngorms,warm & cosy.Shared a 4 bed dorm with another lady,however I think it might be a bit too small for 4 travellers. The doors shut very loudly and don't expect your neighbours to keep quiet in the morning. Saying that I would def stay there again,exceptionally clean& fantastic location!! The Aviemore Hostel has a wonderful atmosphere where it's situated in the heart of the mountains as well in the town with plenty pubs, cafes, shops and tourist advice, giving you plenty entertainment inside and outside the hostel also. It had really nice common room. The hostel itself was in a pretty setting. This is a resort town, so if you are looking for small town charm you won't find it here. The Cairgorm National Park is close and worth a visit. Not great for someone who wants to stay up late because the hostel locks its doors early and you'll most likely find one of your room mates asleep in your room by 8 p.m. Otherwise, it was an okay stay.
