VERY clean which was great and comfy bed. The only problem was that it was so far from everything you needed in town like the viaduct, clubs and bars. they advertise that it is a couple minutes from queen street, but the very top of queen street. be prepared for a long walk uphill to get to the hostel. I had to even grab a cab home from a bar on queen street because it was too far of a walk to do on my own in the middle of the night(didn't seem like the safest part of town).
