This a normal Base hostel.There is a bar downstairs, but it doesn't interfere with sleeping.The kitchen is clean and orderly.The internet here is Global Gossip so you can get 24 hrs of wifi for $8. Jennifer, from USA ~ 26th Mar 2012

Base Queenstown is right in the heart of things and has a fab bar underneath. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all you need. The kitchen leaves something to be desired, its very small and doesn't always have the equipment you want. If all you need is somewhere to crash after an awesome day doing something adventurous its great.The travel desk staff are extremely helpful -].
